Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, oats, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In another bowl, beat softened butter with brown and granulated sugars until light and fluffy (about 3 minutes).
- Add the egg and vanilla extract; mix until fully incorporated.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined.
- Gently fold in chocolate chips and M&Ms.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized amounts of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden and centers remain soft.
