This easy recipe combines juicy pork ribs with a tangy-sweet BBQ sauce, creating an irresistible dish perfect for family gatherings or cozy nights in. With minimal preparation and a low-and-slow cooking method, these ribs will become the highlight of your dinner table, leaving everyone asking for seconds!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs pork ribs (baby back or spare)
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Place the ribs bone-side down and season generously with salt and pepper.
  3. In a bowl, mix brown sugar, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Rub this mixture evenly over the ribs.
  4. Brush BBQ sauce generously on the seasoned ribs, reserving some for later.
  5. Cover the baking sheet tightly with foil and bake for 2.5 hours.
  6. Remove the foil, baste with reserved sauce, increase temperature to 400°F (200°C), and bake uncovered for an additional 20-30 minutes until caramelized.
  7. Allow resting for 10 minutes before slicing between bones and serving with extra BBQ sauce.
