  • Elbow macaroni
  • Boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • Honey
  • Fresh black pepper
  • Sharp cheddar cheese
  • Milk
  • Butter
  • Flour
  • Garlic powder
  • Paprika

Instructions

  1. Cook elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add seasoned chicken breasts and cook until golden brown (6-7 minutes per side). Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add more butter and whisk in flour until bubbly. Gradually stir in milk and chicken broth until thickened.
  4. Mix in garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, honey, and half of the cheddar cheese until melted.
  5. Combine cooked macaroni with the sauce and diced chicken until well-coated.
  6. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish, top with remaining cheddar cheese, and bake for about 20 minutes until bubbly.
