Ingredients
Scale
- 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each, skin-on or skinless)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 lemon (zested and juiced)
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh dill, finely chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F/200°C).
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Brush each fillet with olive oil and season with salt and black pepper.
- In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, lemon zest, lemon juice, minced garlic, parsley, and dill. Mix until well blended.
- Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the grill. Cook for 4-6 minutes per side, depending on the thickness of the fillets, until the salmon is opaque and easily flakes with a fork.
- Transfer the grilled salmon to a plate and immediately top each fillet with a dollop of the lemon herb butter. Let the butter melt over the hot salmon.
- Serve warm with your favorite side dishes.
Notes
- Marinating Tip: For extra flavor, marinate the salmon in olive oil, lemon juice, and fresh herbs for 15-30 minutes before grilling.
