Description

Mahalabia is a velvety rose water milk pudding that enchants with its floral aroma and creamy texture, making it the perfect dessert for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup rice flour
  • 1/4 cup rose water
  • Chopped pistachios (for garnish)
  • Ground cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until warm, stirring occasionally.
  2. Whisk in the sugar and rice flour until fully dissolved and smooth.
  3. Cook gently for about 10 minutes until the mixture thickens enough to coat the back of a spoon.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the rose water.
  5. Pour into serving dishes and cool at room temperature before refrigerating for at least two hours until set.
  6. Garnish with chopped pistachios and a sprinkle of cinnamon before serving.
