Ingredients
- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut into bite-sized pieces)
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1 cup tomato puree
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons garlic and ginger paste
- Ground spices: cumin, coriander, garam masala, turmeric, chili powder
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken by mixing yogurt, garlic-ginger paste, and spices in a bowl. Coat the chicken pieces well and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat and cook the marinated chicken until browned on all sides (about 8-10 minutes). Set aside.
- In the same pan, sauté onions until translucent (about 5 minutes). Stir in tomato puree and cook for another 5 minutes until thickened.
- Lower the heat and mix in heavy cream along with remaining spices. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
