Description

Ingredients

  • Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Fresh mozzarella cheese
  • Marinara sauce
  • Grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Garlic powder
  • Panko breadcrumbs
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Create pockets in each breast by slicing horizontally without cutting all the way through.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the mozzarella, marinara, grated Parmesan, and chopped basil for the stuffing.
  4. Generously fill each chicken pocket with the cheesy mixture until overflowing.
  5. In another bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, and olive oil. Coat each stuffed chicken breast evenly with the breadcrumb mixture.
  6. Place the coated chicken in the baking dish and bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
