  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup low-sodium beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • Butter and olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients for a smooth cooking process.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon each of butter and olive oil. Sauté onions until translucent (3–4 minutes).
  3. Add ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula, and cook until browned (5–7 minutes).
  4. Mix in sliced mushrooms and minced garlic; cook until mushrooms are tender (4–5 minutes).
  5. Pour in beef broth and Dijon mustard; stir well and let simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  6. Reduce heat to low, then add sour cream off heat to prevent curdling; stir until combined.
  7. Cook egg noodles according to package instructions; drain and serve topped with the creamy beef mixture.
