- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C) and grease an 8-inch springform pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
- Bake the crust for about 10 minutes until golden. Let it cool.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add sugar and sour cream, mixing until combined. Stir in vanilla extract.
- Pour the filling over the cooled crust; smooth out the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 50–60 minutes until set but slightly jiggly in the center. Turn off the oven and crack open the door to cool gradually inside.
- Refrigerate for at least four hours or overnight before serving. Top with sliced strawberries and dust with powdered sugar if desired.
