Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two round 8-inch baking pans and line with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, cream softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (about 3-4 minutes).
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, sift together cake flour and baking powder. Gradually incorporate into the wet mixture, alternating with milk until just mixed.
- Divide batter evenly between prepared pans. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Cool cakes in pans for about 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks. Once cool, frost with buttercream and dust with rose gold luster dust.
