  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • Spices: cumin, garam masala, turmeric
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken by mixing yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric, cumin, and salt. Coat the chicken thighs well and let sit for at least 30 minutes.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Sauté chopped onions until golden brown (5-7 minutes).
  3. Stir in canned tomatoes along with garam masala and cumin. Cook until thickened (about 10 minutes).
  4. Add marinated chicken along with any leftover marinade. Cook until the chicken is fully cooked (about 15 minutes).
