Ingredients

Scale
  • For the Chicken Wings:
    • 2 pounds chicken wings, split into flats and drumettes
    • 1 tablespoon baking powder (aluminum-free)
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
    • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • For the Spicy Buffalo Sauce:
    • 1/4 cup hot sauce (like Frank’s RedHot)
    • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
    • 1 teaspoon honey
  • For the Tangy BBQ Sauce:
    • 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
    • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
    • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • For the Creamy Ranch Dip:
    • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
    • 1/4 cup sour cream
    • 1 teaspoon dried dill
    • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
    • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Wings:
    • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top.
    • Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. Toss with baking powder, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika until evenly coated.
  2. Bake the Wings:
    • Arrange the wings in a single layer on the wire rack.
    • Bake for 45-50 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  3. Make the Sauces:
    • Buffalo Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together hot sauce, melted butter, and honey.
    • BBQ Sauce: Combine barbecue sauce, apple cider vinegar, and brown sugar in a small saucepan. Heat on low until well mixed.
    • Ranch Dip: Mix mayonnaise, sour cream, dill, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Chill until ready to serve.
  4. Serve:
    • Transfer wings to a platter and serve with the dipping sauces on the side. Garnish with fresh parsley or celery sticks if desired.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, dry the wings thoroughly before seasoning.
  • Adjust the spice level in the Buffalo sauce by adding more or less hot sauce.
  • Make-ahead tip: Prep the sauces in advance and store in the fridge.
