  • 2 cups Bisquick mix
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup low-sodium beef broth
  • 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with diced onions until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in frozen mixed vegetables, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper. Pour in the beef broth and simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. In a bowl, mix Bisquick, milk, and cheddar cheese until just combined.
  5. Transfer the beef mixture to a greased baking dish and dollop biscuit batter on top.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes until the biscuits are golden brown. Let sit for 10 minutes before serving.
