Description

Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 slices of bacon or sausage patty
  • 1 slice of cheddar or American cheese
  • 2 slices of bread (bagels, English muffins, or artisan bread)
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook bacon or sausage until crispy (5-7 minutes). Remove and drain on paper towels.
  2. Whisk eggs with salt and pepper in a bowl and pour into the same skillet on medium-low heat. Cook until just set (2-3 minutes).
  3. Add cheese on top of the eggs; cover briefly until melted (about 1 minute).
  4. Toast bread in another pan with butter until golden brown.
