Ingredients

  • All-Purpose Flour
  • Baking Powder
  • Unsalted Butter
  • Granulated Sugar
  • Eggs
  • Vanilla Extract
  • Heavy Cream
  • Chocolate Chips
  • Instant Vanilla Pudding Mix
  • Whole Milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, cream together softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour and baking powder, then gradually add to wet ingredients until just mixed.
  4. Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto baking sheets, spacing them apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden and centers remain soft.
  5. While cookies cool, whisk instant pudding mix with milk until thickened; refrigerate.
  6. Melt chocolate chips in microwave intervals until smooth.
  7. Once cookies are cooled, spread or pipe chilled custard filling onto half of them, top with another cookie half, and drizzle melted chocolate.
